Hello Fellow Women of St. Patrick’s!

For those of you who were able to attend the Women of St. Patrick kick-off, thank you for coming. We were so excited to see such a wonderful turn out and such an enthusiastic group of women! In addition, we truly enjoyed hearing from Mary Hogan! She was an awesome and inspiring speaker, as I’m sure you all agree! If you weren’t able to come, we hope you have been able to spend some time with the Women of St. Patrick at one of our other events, or are planning on joining us in the future.

We are really excited about the start of this new group. We see it as a way to start something new while embracing the traditions that the former Guild has already set in place here at St. Patrick’s. We cannot wait to meet all of you and get the chance to connect with all the wonderful women of our church community. Included with this letter you will find a flyer that has some key information for you. It contains the upcoming dates of events we will be hosting through the end of 2009, as well as a contact list for all the women on the Women of St. Patrick Board.

We are thoroughly enjoying planning some wonderful events for the women of our church. It is a joy spending time getting to know those of you who have been a part of our church for years as well as those of you whose faces are new to the audience. Plus it has also been so exciting to watch and be a part of the melding of many generations at our functions.

FYI, please keep in mind that we take your input very seriously, so if you have suggestions or ideas please do not hesitate to contact someone on the board. We value your opinions and love your feedback. We are trying to create both evening and daytime events, so everyone has a chance to attend. The luncheons held during the day were scheduled with everyone in mind, so working women could come on their lunch hours, and feel free to “eat and run”. Mommies, as an added bonus, free childcare will be provided for most events! We look forward to the upcoming year and many years to come, as we share our faith together, serve together, and build relationships together!
